Work to increase the Sales Team’s net sales, both in property and insured funerals, to achieve a weekly sales plan. Achieve personal sales success, and contribute to the overall success of the Sales Team. Consistently prospect for potential customers.

At all times, present warmth, compassion, empathy, good manners, and diplomacy to grieving family members and potential customers.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Present a genuine smile out of kindness.
  2. Schedule meetings with prospective families daily, and assist them in finalizing their pre-arrangement property plans with Rose Hills Company.
  3. Be a positive, supportive, and contributing member of your Sales Team, Sales Director, and the Company.
  4. Personally sell, at minimum, $75K Net in new property business quarterly using appropriate sales techniques.
  5. Complete and maintain the Daily Activity Success Report and Daily Contact Planner, reviewing regularly with your Sales Director.
  6. Ensure sales contracts and all required documentation are completed accurately, with signatures and dates, prior to submission.
  7. Contact customers within three weeks of contracting to verify receipt of documents and address questions.
  8. Meet monthly and quarterly net sales quotas in property sales.
  9. Improve sales results by tracking and reviewing progress with your Sales Director quarterly.
  10. Complete the Company’s New Counselor Training Program and attend scheduled Sales Training programs.
  11. Observe and implement best practices from Sales Directors to enhance prospecting, presenting, and closing skills.
  12. Follow your Personal Improvement Plan created with your Sales Director to show development and meet improvement timelines.
  13. Support and promote the Company’s core values and guidelines.
  14. Contribute positively to team morale and respect within the company.
  15. Handle interruptions, changing priorities, and high work volume diplomatically and accurately.
  16. Multi-task, prioritize, and organize work efficiently.

Other responsibilities include:

  1. Adhere to Company policies, procedures, rules, and controls.
  2. Follow safety rules and report unsafe practices.
  3. Address customer complaints promptly and report to your Sales Director.
  4. Achieve annual SMART goals.
  5. Report to appointments on time.

Compensation:

*$17.27/hr Plus Commission
