Fun Town RV was founded in 2010 and has grown substantially over the last ten years. We currently have 14 locations and have plans to add several more in the next few years.

As Texas's largest RV Chain, we provide excellent customer service and offer customers top RV brands for less! FTRV has a quality assurance facility where every RV we sell is put through a 100+ point inspection to assure that every RV meets our quality standards.

Job Summary:

The Sales Professional role involves direct customer interaction to sell RVs. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, demonstrating RV features, processing paperwork, managing customer relationships via CRM, and general sales duties. The position requires strong communication, technology, and customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greets customers on the sales floor and determines make, type, and quality of RV desired
  • Has knowledge of inventory the company carries.
  • Demonstrates use of RV's equipment and its furnishings to customers.
  • Prepare sales documents and credit applications
  • Arrange RV pickup for customers
  • Manage customer data in CRM and work in conjunction with the business development department to follow-up on leads.
  • Perform other assigned duties


The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Job Knowledge - Competent in required job skills and knowledge of current RV inventory; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; uses resources effectively
  • Use of Technology - Demonstrates required skills; adapts to new technologies
  • Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; responds promptly to customer needs; solicits customer feedback to improve service; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments
  • Personal Appearance - Dresses appropriately for position; keeps self well groomed
  • Sales Skills - Achieves sales goals; overcomes objections with persuasion and persistence; initiates new contacts; maintains customer follow-up and satisfaction; maintains records via CRM and promptly submits information
  • Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and appointments on time
  • Dependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate people with an alternate plan.


Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills
