Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey is seeking a Sales and Production Associate to perform a wide variety of duties to create and sustain a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain excellent customer relationships.

The responsibilities include sorting, pricing, and stocking merchandise; moving clothing from the production room to the sales floor, and keeping racks, floors, bathrooms, entryways and sidewalks clean and tidy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; good communication.
• Able to understand and follow directions; maintain hospitable work environment.

Responsibilities

• Sort, price, and stock merchandise; manage clothing by department, category, and color.
• Operate cash register to ring sales and keep the sales floor and facilities clean.
• Assist customers and donors courteously as directed by supervisor.
