Summary/Objectives

This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial relationships and loans. This includes coordinating with Credit Administration on financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, borrowing basis, and annual servicing. The role involves monitoring the financial condition of the portfolio, servicing client banking needs, processing loan renewals, managing past due accounts, and ensuring files are up to date.

Essential Functions
  1. Contact customers and designees for collection of financial information.
  2. Provide preliminary feedback on creditworthiness and loan renewal merits.
  3. Partner with lenders to complete renewals, monitor maturing loans, and drive approval processes.
  4. Monitor collateral and financial exceptions, working closely with Lending Assistants.
  5. Ensure timely completion of annual reviews and renewal packages with Credit Administration.
  6. Assist with monitoring and reporting on Classified Loans.
  7. Support project work and workflow initiation into credit software.
  8. Accompany Relationship Managers on calls and loan closings as needed.
  9. Undertake special projects as assigned.
  10. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  11. Assist colleagues and participate in marketing efforts.
  12. Participate in ongoing professional training and cross-training.
  13. Perform other duties as directed.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
  • Good listening skills and ability to multi-task under pressure.
  • Patience and a positive attitude in problem-solving.
Qualifications, Education, and Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance recommended, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant banking experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, analytical skills, and strong communication skills required.
Training Requirements

Annual compliance training and New Employee Orientation.

Physical Demands

Ability to work extensively with computers, interpret information, and identify customers. Must be able to sit or stand for long periods.

Work Environment

Most work is performed in a cubicle environment; remote roles require a secure, quiet home office with reliable internet.

Travel

Travel may be required for meetings.
