Job summary

BMW of Lynnwood, part of Swickard Auto Group, is seeking a dependable Sales Porter to maintain a premium lot and showroom. You’ll move and stage vehicles, prep them for test drives and deliveries, perform light cleaning, and support the sales team throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for daily porter coverage.
• Detail-oriented and careful with vehicles; presentation reflects the store's standard.
• Professional demeanor while representing the store to guests on the lot and showroom.
• Prior porter/valet/lot attendant or driving experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage new and pre-owned vehicles on the lot and in the showroom, ensuring presentation-ready condition throughout the day.
• Prepare vehicles for guest test drives and deliveries, including pulling vehicles and checking fuel level.
• Perform basic vehicle washes and light cleaning to maintain lot/showroom presentation.
• Keep the lot organized and properly staged, monitoring vehicle positioning and lot flow.
• Assist the sales team with vehicle movement and delivery logistics as needed.
• Communicate any vehicle condition observations to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout every shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Move and stage new and pre‑owned vehicles on the lot and in the showroom -- ensuring every BMW is positioned correctly, clean, and presentation‑ready throughout the day
• Prepare vehicles for guest test drives and deliveries -- pulling vehicles, checking fuel level, and ensuring the vehicle is guest‑ready before it reaches the sales team
• Perform basic vehicle washes and light cleaning to maintain lot and showroom presentation standards
• Keep the lot organized and properly staged -- monitoring vehicle positioning, signage, and lot flow throughout the shift
• Assist the sales team with vehicle movement and delivery logistics as needed
• Communicate any vehicle condition observations -- new damage, warning lights, or other concerns -- immediately to the appropriate team member
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout every shift

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required
• Reliable and punctual -- the sales team depends on consistent porter coverage throughout the day and vehicles staged correctly before guests arrive
• Detail-oriented and careful with vehicles -- BMW buyers notice presentation and the porter who handles inventory with genuine care reflects the store's standard directly
• Prior porter, valet, lot attendant, or driving experience a plus -- not required
• Professional demeanor -- you're visible to guests on the lot and in the showroom and represent the store in every interaction
