Job summary

Every Man Jack in Mill Valley, CA is seeking a Sales Planning Manager to drive trade plans, 4P guidelines, and sales materials across retail and e-commerce. The role sits at the crossroads of sales, finance, and marketing, requiring strong organization and data-driven decision making.

You will report to the Sales Planning Director, collaborate with shopper marketing and brokers, and help manage budgets, item setups, and speed-to-shelf.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales operations, trade marketing, or a related CPG function.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace is a bonus.
• Familiarity with syndicated data platforms (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a comfort with numbers and data interpretation.
• Experience with trade planning or deduction management tools (e.g., Confido, Vividly, Telus, BluePlanner) is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally to keep master data up to date for selling purposes.
• Coordinate the annual trade promotional calendar across retail and wholesale accounts.
• Assist in post-promotional ROI analysis.
• Support the sales team in building customer sell sheets, new item forms, and sales samples.
• Drive the new fiscal year budgeting cycle for field sales.
• Track trade spend budgets and forecasts in Confido.
• Maintain account-level sales trackers and dashboards.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and supply chain to align promotional plans with forecasts.
• Support onboarding of new items and speed-to-shelf monitoring.
