Twenty-Six Defense in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Sales Order Entry Specialist to accurately enter customer orders into our ERP system and support contracts and accounting with order inquiries. The role includes reviewing POs, resolving discrepancies with contracts and logistics, and maintaining organized order records.

The position is hybrid, with emphasis on attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting month-end processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of experience loading contracts into an ERP system preferred.
• Proficiency in reading government or commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Enter sales orders into the ERP system with accuracy and completeness.
• Review purchase orders for policy and contract term compliance.
• Communicate with contracts, accounting, and logistics to resolve discrepancies.
• Track order status and update customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic records of orders and supporting documents.
• Assist audits with order documentation and materials.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities for sales orders.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to workflow optimization.

The Sales Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient entry into the company's ERP system, and supporting the contracts and accounting teams with order-related inquiries and documentation.

• Enter sales orders into the ERP system (e.g., Infor LN) with attention to accuracy and completeness.
• Review purchase orders for compliance with company policies and contract terms.
• Communicate with contracts, accounting, and logistics teams to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
• Track order status and proactively update customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain electronic records of sales orders, modifications, and supporting documents.
• Assist with audits by providing order documentation and supporting materials.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to sales order processing.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to workflow optimization.

Knowledge (Education/License/Certification, Prior Experience)

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in loading contracts into an ERP system, preferred
• Proficiency in reading government or commercial contracts.
