Job summary

Optikus Eye Protection Partners, the prescription safety eyewear division of Saf-Gard, seeks a Sales Optician to join the Fort Worth team. This role blends optical expertise with account management and territory growth, delivering prescription eyewear solutions to employees and corporate accounts.

You’ll fit and dispense eyewear, educate customers, manage orders via VisionWeb, and travel across the Dallas–Fort Worth area to build lasting relationships and grow our business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as an optician or related optical role.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience fitting and dispensing eyewear products.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Dallas Fort Worth area.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with frame selection, lens types, and treatments.
• Perform fitting and dispensing services for proper fit and visual performance.
• Educate customers on prescription safety eyewear options and products.
• Verify eyewear orders for accuracy and provide updates.
• Dispense completed orders and provide follow-up service.
• Maintain high standard of customer care throughout the experience.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts; expand territory.
• Coordinate customer visits and travel schedule.
• Prospect for new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Support presentations and program introductions for prospective customers.
• Expand prescription safety eyewear programs among accounts.
