Job summary

Saf-Gard’s Optikus Eye Protection Partners is seeking a Sales Optician to combine optical expertise, customer relationships, and business development across the Dallas–Fort Worth territory. The role blends hands-on fittings with account management and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of optician/dispensing optical experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience fitting and dispensing eyewear products.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
• Ability to work independently with professional communication.
• Valid driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide optical services and superior customer care: frame selection, lens types, and treatments; fit and dispense eyewear; educate on options.
• Verify eyewear orders for accuracy and update customers promptly; dispense completed orders and follow up.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, program managers, and prescribing doctors; identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate customer visits and travel schedules; serve as a trusted resource for safety eyewear programs.
• Prospect for new business within assigned territories; support presentations for prospective customers; expand prescription safety eyewear programs.
• Handle order management and administrative tasks: place orders via VisionWeb, maintain records, track orders, and document territory activity.
