Job description

Are you the person who spots the error in the quote before anyone else does? The one who keeps the spreadsheet everyone else relies on? Let us introduce ourselves.

We're InterWorks, a tech company that hires carefully and works with clients who make the work worth doing. We look for friendly, sharp and focused people who take pride in the details and value the relationships they build. Right now we need a Sales Operations Specialist on our IT Services sales team.

This role keeps our technology sales running: quoting, deal registration, renewals, partner relationships, client events and the everyday processes that hold it all together. You'll work with vendors, distributors and nearly every team here, so a knack for process and clear communication matters more than any particular background.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000

What You’ll Do
  • Build, review and manage sales quotes with a high degree of accuracy, working with our partners and distributors through the whole process.
  • Run deal registration across vendor systems, keeping every detail current and compliant.
  • Own renewals for client agreements and subscriptions, protecting retention and flagging expansion opportunities as contracts come due.
  • Manage our vendor and distributor relationships as the main point of contact for deals, enablement resources and partner program requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and quickly with vendors and InterWorks teams to resolve issues in the sales cycle.
  • Find better ways to run the operation as we grow.
What You’ll Need
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skill, proven in a technical or sales support environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and confidence working with people inside and outside the company.
  • Comfort with the systems the job runs on: CRM, quoting portals and spreadsheets.
  • The judgment to own outcomes on your own and the instinct to pull others in when it helps.
  • An adaptable, positive attitude that fits a collaborative, client-focused team.
What We’d Like You to Have
  • Experience with sales quotes, opportunity management and vendor or distributor relationships in IT or technical sales.
  • Prior experience in sales operations, sales admin or a similar role. We value it, but curiosity and the drive to help others succeed count for more.
