Job summary

DEVELON North America is seeking a Sales Operation Specialist in Suwanee, GA to manage sales orders, purchase orders, shipments, invoicing, and inventory records in SAP. You will coordinate with Internal Sales, logistics, production in Savannah, and HQ in South Korea.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain sales orders and purchase orders in SAP, including quantities, pricing, delivery dates, and dealer account information.
• Verify that SO and PO details match dealer requests, quotations, and HQ order confirmations before release.
• Check order status daily and update records as allocation, production, or delivery dates change.
• Manage orders for products purchased from third-party manufacturers and vendors rather than HQ, including vendor purchase orders and processing accounts payable (AP) invoices.
• Track open, blocked, and back-ordered items, follow up with the responsible party, and elevate exceptions to the SCM Manager.
• Prepare, review, and file shipment and delivery documentation and confirm each document is consistent with the SAP record.
• Check invoices and credits against the related purchase order and delivery documents; identify discrepancies and support corrections.
• Support monthly shipment execution by tracking unit status from order through delivery.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with logistics providers and confirm shipment completion in the system.
• Update and reconcile inventory records between SAP, and physical stock, and report variances to the SCM Manager.
• Support aged inventory tracking and fixed asset record keeping.
• Prepare recurring SCM reports - open orders, shipments, inventory, and backorder aging - using Excel and SAP data extracts.
• Pull and validate data for the SCM Manager's monthly reporting and for HQ or internal information requests.
• Maintain report templates and submit reports on the agreed schedule.

What You'll Do

The Sales Operation Specialist at DEVELON North America supports the day-to-day execution of whole goods supply chain transactions - sales orders (SO), purchase orders (PO), shipment and invoicing documentation, and inventory records - primarily in SAP. The role reports to the SCM Manager and works to the priorities, process standards, and monthly schedule the Manager sets.

This is a transaction- and documentation-focused role. Day to day it creates and maintains SO and PO data in SAP, verifies that shipping and invoicing documents match the underlying orders, and keeps inventory and master data records accurate and current - coordinating with Internal Sales, logistics providers, the production team in Savannah, GA, and Headquarters in South Korea.

The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, and comfortable working with system data and documents on a repeating monthly cycle. Attention to detail, consistent follow-through, and disciplined record keeping matter more in this role than prior leadership experience. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Accuracy of inventory data records, with variances identified and resolved promptly.
• On-time delivery of recurring reports and ad hoc data requests.
• Consistent follow-through on assigned tasks, with issues escalated to the SCM Manager early.

What You'll Bring

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in order management, supply chain, or comparable operations support role.
• Hands-on ERP experience, SAP preferred (SD/MM), covering order entry.
• Comfortable working in Excel; solid spreadsheet skills are a plus for handling order and inventory data.
• Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy in data entry and document review.
• Organized and deadline-driven, able to run a repeating monthly cycle without missing steps.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable following up with internal sales, and HQ.

Preferred

• Experience in construction equipment, or industrial manufacturing industries.
• Understanding of dealer-based distribution networks and inventory management practices.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and global supply chain operations.
