The Role / Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager (OM) is primarily responsible for the direct management of a small regional team of Contract Specialists
and/or global function supporting the lead-to-cash process for a product line. The role has responsibility for supporting sales growth
and creating leverage for sales professionals, while also mitigating compliance and operational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
· Direct all operational responsibilities required to draft contracts, process orders, manage fulfillment, and resolve
customer issues.
· Manage and direct the responsibilities of at least 4 to 6 Contract Specialists, responsible for sales support activities such
as contract generation, pricing, renewal management and fulfillment or Sales enablement activities such as onboarding,
reporting/ analysis and CRM development. Assist the team with day to day issues, process improvement and managing
work.
· Ensure all processes and activities for team and/or region conform to corporate and departmental policies and standards.
· Manage all personnel and HR activities including recruiting, hiring/termination, attendance, management, performance
evaluations, training, and other staffing issues. Partner with relevant managers to ensure specific needs/issues are
addressed.
· Coordinate with key stakeholders and SMEs to monitor commercial changes (such as new product launches) that impact
operational processes and propose solutions that address business needs.
· Facilitate professional development, cross-training, and skill-building opportunities for team. Continually promote and
improve career development for employees. Design and implement bespoke development plans to provide opportunities
and build skills supporting career objectives.
· Proactively identify potential challenges impacting sales growth or efficiency.
· Develop and maintain strong partnerships with functional stakeholders involved in the lead to cash processes through
continuous collaboration and communication.
· Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across regions and specializations to ensure consistency and efficiency
where possible.
· Collaborate and communicate with other Sales Operations Managers globally to build strong relationships.
· Coordinate relevant operational aspects of acquisitions including, but not limited to, integration of data, business
processes and product per missioning.
Qualifications:
· Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree)
· Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, operations, or related function supporting the quote-to-cash process. Prior
experience in a direct management or supervisory role (including experience managing remote employees) required.
· Experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching employees, ability to inspire and develop employees to achieve results.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to influence and build relationships at
all levels and across different departments or teams. Able to articulate strategic objectives confidently.
· Demonstrates exceptional judgment and proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
· Highly self-motivated and team performance-driven. Able to lead and manage complex projects, complete assignments,
and resolve issues proactively without oversight or direction.
· Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
· Highly proficient with Salesforce.com.
· Fluency in English (spoken & written) is essential. For EMEA-based positions, other European languages would be
advantageous
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$98,400.00-$142,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
