Job summary

Penske in Fort Wayne, Indiana is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to learn our end-to-end business—from sales and operations to finance and customer service—and to develop the skills to advance into management.

You’ll train on our sales processes and technology, support Fortune 500 accounts, manage a large inventory of vehicles, build new business and strengthen customer relationships, with opportunities nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing role preferred.
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills.
• A valid driver's license is required, as is the ability and willingness to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26' box truck.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires a driver qualification file.
• Willingness to travel within the district as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts - including Fortune 500.
• Manage our large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced workspace
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
