Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing in Colorado is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to run a business, solve problems, and support customers. You will learn Penske processes, technology, and culture through training and mentoring while collaborating with a high-energy team to build a foundation in sales and operations.

The role is hourly with a starting salary of at least $55,744 per year, with premium pay for weekend work and clear advancement opportunities after a 6–9 month training period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
• Effective communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Results oriented with attention to detail and good time management.
• Driver’s license is required and ability to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Position is regulated by DOT; requires DOT-compliant driver qualification records and screening.
• Travel within the district as needed; willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts.
• Manage large fleet inventory balancing productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
