Job summary

State Industrial Products is hiring a Sales Operations Analyst to support the sales team by managing key administrative and operational processes. The role involves territory management, account assignments, quota and incentive administration, payroll support, onboarding, and data management to ensure accurate information and efficient processes.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and other functions, driving process improvements and ensuring a positive experience for the sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience in administrative, operations, sales support, customer support, or related business role preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and data accuracy with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Administer sales territory structures, customer account assignments, transfers, and sales hierarchies to ensure accurate alignment and ownership.
  • Manage sales quotas and incentive programs, including annual quota rollouts, approved adjustments, compensation tracking, and related communications.
  • Support sales payroll administration by preparing and validating payroll-related information and resolving data discrepancies.
  • Coordinate sales employee administration, including system setup, onboarding support, organizational changes, role transfers, and employee separations.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc sales reports and support month-end reporting, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of sales-related data across business systems and reporting platforms.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for sales administration inquiries and provide support to sales leadership and team members.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall support of the sales organization.
  • Support special projects and other sales operations initiatives as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales organization by managing key administrative and operational processes that drive efficient business performance. This role is responsible for territory management, account assignment administration, sales quota and incentive administration, payroll support, employee setup and maintenance, reporting, and sales data management. The position partners closely with Sales, Finance, Human Resources, and other functions to ensure accurate information, effective processes, and a positive experience for the sales team.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
