Position Overview:

We are seeking a Sales Merchandiser based in St. Petersburg. The role involves working from 5:00 am until completion, five days a week, including weekends. You will be responsible for stocking, replenishing, merchandising, and providing excellent customer service at designated accounts, primarily during the day shift.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain product displays and equipment placement according to standards.
• Manage inventory levels, avoid stockouts, and minimize damages and losses.
• Place timely, accurate orders based on ad calendars and store needs.
• Manage back stock and trade breakage.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through communication, problem resolution, and follow-up.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers.
• Maintain merchandising standards and organize backroom inventory.
• Transport and maintain POS advertising and equipment.
• Adhere to attendance, safety, dress code, and scheduling policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Personal vehicle for work use and valid driver’s license
• Ability to operate manual/powered pallet jacks
• Good driving record with no major violations in last 3 years

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or higher
• 1+ year sales/merchandising experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with mobile apps and computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds
• Push/pull objects and equipment for extended distances
• Stand for up to 10 hours and walk for at least 4 hours
• Work in hot/humid environments and use audio headsets
