Job summary

Description

Dana Distributors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Merchandiser to support retail execution, shelf stocking, product rotation, and in-store displays. This position ensures product visibility and availability while maintaining strong relationships with store staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work schedules with Salesmen and Drivers.
• Use the Payroll App to track time and attendance daily.
• Stock shelves according to planograms and identify opportunities for improved product positioning.
• Rotate products to maintain freshness and monitor expiration dates.
• Build and maintain promotional and seasonal product displays.
• Install pricing and point-of-sale materials on displays and shelving.
• Organize and manage back stock areas and condense breakage as needed.
• Use Go Spot Check daily in all chain accounts to verify merchandising standards.
• Communicate with store management and receivers before and after each store visit.
• Report display opportunities and inventory needs to Salesmen and the Sales Manager.

Qualifications

• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with store staff and sales team.

Skills & Abilities

• Basic math skills including percentages and bar graph interpretation.
• Familiarity with retail environments and merchandising systems.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, climb, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate in physically demanding environments including cold, heat, and outdoor conditions.
• Regular exposure to varying temperatures and weather.
• Occasional work near mechanical parts or at elevated heights.
