Coke Florida is seeking a Sales Merchandiser based in Gainesville. The role involves working 5 days a week from 5:00 AM until finish, including weekends.
What You Will Do
As a Sales Merchandiser, you will stock, replenish, merchandise, and provide excellent customer service while managing product orders at designated accounts. This full-time position primarily involves day shifts, with scheduled weekends. Candidates should reside in or near the specified areas. You will be the primary Coke Florida representative in customer accounts, ensuring continuous stock and product ordering based on consumer needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements per company standards.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and manage shelf space, cold equipment, and stock to prevent out-of-stock situations and minimize trade breakage, damage, and loss.
- Place accurate, timely orders according to the ad calendar, adjusting based on influencing factors.
- Manage back stock inventory and trade breakage.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through daily communication, problem resolution, and follow-up.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers.
- Ensure proper inventory levels, assets, and point-of-sale materials, and properly face and rotate products.
- Assess store product needs, place and transmit orders.
- Conduct store surveys and communicate account activities, including equipment needs.
- Maintain merchandising standards and organize backroom inventory.
- Keep equipment, sales floors, and shelves clean.
- Transport and maintain point-of-sale advertising as needed.
- Maintain punctual attendance and work overtime as required.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including safety and dress code standards.
- Work shifts and schedules as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Personal vehicle for work use, with a valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
- At least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Ability to operate manual or powered pallet jacks and lift products.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or 1-2 years college/university preferred.
- Previous sales/merchandising experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with mobile apps and computer applications.
- Experience working independently.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Push and pull objects and equipment over distances.
- Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods.
- Work in hot/humid environments.
- Use audio headsets for directions.
