SMS Mill Services, LLC. is seeking a driven Sales & Marketing Manager to drive strategic growth across North America.

You will strengthen and expand customer relationships, develop new partnerships, and identify opportunities in the steel and heavy industrial sectors to grow revenue and market share. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in industrial sales/marketing, a bachelor’s degree, and a proven ability to generate leads, present value, and travel up to 60% within North America while

The Opportunity

SMS Mill Services is seeking a driven and strategic Sales & Marketing Manager to drive strategic growth across North America.

This highly visible role will focus on strengthening and expanding existing customer relationships, developing new customer partnerships, and identifying untapped business opportunities across the steel and heavy industrial sectors. In addition to securing new business, the successful candidate will play a key role in expanding SMS's presence and service offerings within the facilities and markets we currently serve, helping drive long-term revenue growth and market share.

The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship builder with a proven track record of generating leads, creating strategic partnerships, and delivering measurable business results in an industrial environment.

What You’ll Do

Drive Business Growth

• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives throughout North America
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities that align with company growth objectives
• Generate qualified leads and build a robust sales pipeline
• Expand SMS’s footprint within existing customer locations

Build Strategic Relationships

• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and industry stakeholders.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and delivering value-driven solutions.
• Represent SMS professionally and persuasively in customer meetings, industry events, and presentations.

What We’re Looking For

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, science, or a related field

Experience

• Five or more years of successful sales, marketing, or business development experience within the heavy industrial service sector.
• Demonstrated ability to generate revenue growth, develop strategic customer relationships, and win new business
• Proven track record of delivering results

Other Qualifications

• Must be available at least 60% of the time to travel within North America
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Power Point, Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver internal and external presentations.
• Ability to work independently with internal customers and external resources.
• Proven ability to demonstrate lead generation and growth within these similar sectors
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in group environments.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of the steel making process
• Understanding of business and commercial contract terms and conditions
• Understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong analytical skills and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical and market data.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
