Job description

Our client is a leading provider of racking, trackers, and BOS technologies. With over a decade of experience, they have built more than 3.5 GW of ground-mounted, utility-scale solar projects across the United States.

The Sales Manager will scale the business prospecting and closing transactions in the large commercial, community solar, and distributed utility markets. You will leverage your existing relationships with EPCs and Developers to identify potential projects and sell the value proposition for these products.

This role requires building and maintaining strong professional relationships across all levels of EPC, Developer, and IPP customers to maximize sales opportunities and ensure exceptional customer experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and strategize to convert new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
  • Solution Recommendation: Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions that align with their requirements.
  • Identify, Advance, and Close new Deals with EPCs and Developers

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years selling complex solar solutions to commercial and community solar EPCs and Developers.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with clients and attend industry events.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $110,000–$130,000 base, with an uncapped commission structure.
