You will manage plumbing advisors, ensure accurate proposals, and maintain strong customer communication while meeting revenue goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential plumbing sales or sewer replacement experience
• 2+ years plumbing sales management experience
• Experience with water heaters, sewer line replacement, water main replacement, excavation, or underground plumbing projects

Responsibilities

• Oversee the residential plumbing sales process for sewer line replacements, water main replacements, and underground plumbing projects

We are seeking a Residential Plumbing Sales Manager to lead our plumbing advisors and water heater sales team, to include our sewer replacement, water main replacement, and excavation sales division. This role focuses on managing the sales process for large residential plumbing projects, coaching sales staff, and coordinating with field crews to ensure successful project execution. This position works closely with the Plumbing Service Manager and General Manager to grow the drain, sewer, and excavation replacement division while maintaining a strong customer experience.

Salary: $70,000 plus bonus potential

Responsibilities

As the Residential Plumbing Sales Manager, you will oversee the sales and coordination of sewer replacement, water main replacement, and excavation plumbing projects.

• Lead and manage the residential plumbing sales process for sewer line replacements, water main replacements, and underground plumbing project.
• Drive residential plumbing sales across a broad range of services, including water heater repair and replacement, tank and tankless water heater solutions, plumbing system upgrades, sewer line replacement, and water main replacement.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of Plumbing Advisors, establishing clear expectations for sales performance, customer service, and professional development.
• Meet with homeowners to assess plumbing failures and provide replacement solutions
• Ensure Plumbing Advisors prepare accurate, professional proposals and clearly communicate available plumbing and water heater options to homeowners.
• Coordinate project scheduling with drain technicians, excavation crews, and plumbing teams
• Track sales performance, close rates, and revenue goals for the sewer and excavation division
• Ensure all projects meet local plumbing codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and profitably
• Maintain strong communication with homeowners throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop and improve sales processes for the sewer and excavation division
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members involved in sewer and water main replacement sales
• Conduct sales meetings and trainings.

Qualifications: What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of residential plumbing sales or sewer replacement experience
• 2+ years plumbing sales management experience
• Some experience with water heaters, sewer line replacement, water main replacement, excavation, or underground plumbing projects
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and underground infrastructure
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes, permitting processes, and excavation safety standards
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and sales skills
• Ability to manage project scope, pricing, and customer expectations
