In this role, you'll manage, coach, motivate, and support a sales team, engage with key decision-makers, forge impactful relationships with influential organizations, and contribute to Semrush's growth.

Tasks in the role
  • Hire, lead, coach, and support the AE team to meet revenue goals
  • Implement data-driven management approaches
  • Design sales strategies to ensure consistency and predictability
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and growth opportunities for team members
  • Oversee continuous training on Semrush products and sales techniques
  • Identify and implement new sales initiatives and strategies
  • Maintain expert product knowledge to support customer questions and overcome hesitations
  • Support reporting on revenue goals and sales metrics
  • Submit forecasts regularly
Who we are looking for
  • Proven 5+ years of managerial experience and team-building skills
  • 2+ years of sales experience with closing ability
  • Highly organized and customer-focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sales methodology training (e.g., Sandler, Challenger, Spin, MEDDIC)
Not required but a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Sales
  • SaaS or MarTech experience
