Role and Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Engagement: Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Sales Growth & Forecasting: Achieve revenue targets, ensure price accuracy, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Strategy & Market Development: Define and implement strategies in assigned market segments, manage customer programs, and drive market expansion.
- Customer Needs & Solutions: Understand client requirements and deliver tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage opportunities using MS Dynamics CRM, ensuring pipeline growth.
- Product & Market Analysis: Support product management with pricing, positioning, and competitive analysis.
- Negotiation & Agreements: Secure customer agreements and lead promotional efforts aligned with corporate goals.
- Industry Engagement: Attend trade shows, conferences, and training to generate leads and stay informed on market trends.
- Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct research and analyze competitors to inform strategic decisions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams like Finance, Engineering, and Customer Service to enhance customer experience.
- Project Leadership: Oversee customer product implementations, ensuring seamless integration and timely market entry.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare reports and analytics to support organizational strategy.
- Compliance & Ethics: Follow corporate standards including procurement, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering policies.
- Travel & Customer Interaction: Maintain contact with key personnel through meetings, calls, and emails.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of technical sales experience
- Experience in the precious metals industry; knowledge of medical and defense markets is preferred
- Ability to provide engineering and technical support
- Proficiency in office software including spreadsheets, word processing, relational databases, CRM, and presentations
- Strong analytical, presentation, communication, leadership, negotiation, and project management skills
