Job Overview:
The Electric Vehicle Charging Sales Manager will lead and drive sales efforts for ENVISION’s electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions and infrastructure. This role requires a strategic, results-driven individual who can build relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to support the adoption of ENVISION Multi-Media EV charging systems for commercial applications across industries such as hospitality, retail, entertainment, municipal, and education. The position demands in-depth knowledge of the EV charging industry, a strong sales background, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies for new business acquisition and account growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet revenue targets and market penetration goals. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted sectors and regions. Analyze market trends and customer needs to optimize sales processes. Lead the sales team to maximize growth and maintain high conversion rates.
- Customer and Referral Partner Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, property owners, referral partners, electrical contractors, and client executives. Conduct meetings and presentations to educate clients on ENVISION EV charging solutions. Provide support throughout the sales process, including post-sales support. Manage and motivate the sales team, conducting training to keep them updated on industry trends.
- Product Knowledge & Consultation: Stay current on ENVISION’s EV solutions, industry trends, regulatory changes, and funding opportunities. Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align sales strategies. Track performance, prepare reports, and evaluate competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Partnership Development & Networking: Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, vendors, and influencers. Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and generate leads.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations and close contracts for large EV charging projects. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts meet standards and customer needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of sales experience, with 2-3 years in EV charging infrastructure or renewable energy solutions.
- Proven success in managing large accounts, complex sales cycles, and multi-stakeholder deals.
- Experience in B2B and B2C sales, with a solid understanding of the EV ecosystem.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields (preferred). Industry certifications are a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with C-level executives, engineers, and government agencies.
- In-depth knowledge of EV charging technologies and familiarity with local, state, and federal incentives and regulations.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for sustainable energy and EVs, with a data-driven approach to sales and decision-making.
