Sales Professional Role
Drive sales processes and outcomes within an industry, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales through deal origination, negotiations, and closure.
Location
This is a virtual position; travel up to 50% for client meetings may be required.
Target Regions
Candidates must be based in NJ, NY, PA, or Boston, and experienced in Consumer & Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences sectors.
Responsibilities
- Business development, lead generation, and deal closures in Financial Services and Insurance industries.
- Lead complex sales efforts to identify, qualify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities.
- Develop and articulate DXC Consulting and Engineering Services' differentiated value propositions and strategic win themes for proposals.
- Create strategic and tactical plans to grow business and assist in closing deals.
- Educate clients on DXC capabilities and success stories within relevant industries.
- Interact with senior management at clients and within DXC.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal account teams.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, customer, and forecast data in collaboration with Sales Operations.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience selling into industries such as Consumer & Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Travel, Transportation, and High Tech.
- Proven success in sales, business development, and opportunity creation in an individual contributor role.
- Experience selling Application Services like Development, Management, Modernization, Analytics, BI, Testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively with account teams to strategize and close revenue opportunities.
- Track record of managing complex sales cycles and working cross-functionally.
- Strong consultative and relationship selling skills, with a focus on expanding existing business and acquiring new clients.
- Deep knowledge of the competitive landscape and sales processes.
- Ability to influence high-level decision-makers and leverage partnerships for revenue growth.
- Familiarity with enterprise products, solutions, and technology strategies.
- Willingness to travel frequently based on client and sector needs.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with client interviews, focus groups, and designing business cases.
- Experience in complex matrixed organizations and working with strategic vendors.
