Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Location: Remote – based in the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) or North East.

Schedule: 3 days on the road to clients, 1 day in office (once a week or every other week), 1 day remote meetings.

Our Client is a historic Italian - American producer of high-quality cured meats and deli specialties, proudly continuing a legacy of traditional craftsmanship and innovation. With decades of experience and a deep respect for authenticity, the company sells its Premium Products to respected retails across the USA. As part of its continued US expansion, our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to support and grow its footprint in the U.S. market, with a strong focus on the Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) and the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow B2B sales within the Tri-State area and, occasionally, select states along the East Coast, focusing on distributors, specialty food retailers, gourmet grocery chains, and foodservice partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and open new accounts, leveraging existing industry contacts where applicable
  • Manage and grow relationships with current clients, ensuring product satisfaction and repeat business
  • Support brand visibility through participation in trade shows (Fancy Food Show), in-store promotions, and tastings
  • Collaborate with the US HQ to align on product launches, pricing, and strategic priorities
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales within the specialty food, gourmet retail, or Italian F&B sector
  • Strong knowledge of cured meats, deli products, or high-end food distribution is a strong plus
  • Established network of contacts in the U.S. food industry (distributors, retailers, foodservice)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and remotely
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus
  • Willingness to travel as needed across the Tri-State area and for occasional industry events
