Job summary

Roto-Rooter, a national plumbing and water cleanup company, seeks an experienced service manager to lead the Pittsburgh area excavation team, drive profitability, and ensure safety.

You will recruit, train, and support field crews, manage time, material, equipment, and technicians, meet sales quotas, provide hands-on coaching, and maintain OSHA compliance. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of sales management experience.
• Service industry experience is strongly desired.
• A valid driver's license.
• Self-starter who is organized and detail-oriented in a bustling environment.

• Ensure monthly and annual sales quotas are achieved.
• Recruit and maintain excavation teams in collaboration with the hiring manager.
• Manage time, material, equipment, and technician resources for excavation sales and service teams.
• Monitor teams to ensure they meet performance standards.
• Provide ongoing field sales and education training.
• Troubleshoot and provide technical support wherever needed.
• Coordinate with the general manager and office management team.
• Accompany teams to customer sites to observe performance.
• Ensure adherence to strict company and OSHA safety requirements.
• Coach and develop sales and service teams using hands-on training methods.
