Job summary

Fox Toyota of Cadillac is seeking a Sales Manager to lead our Cadillac dealership team and drive sales performance. You will recruit, train, and coach sales staff, manage budgets, and ensure customer satisfaction while achieving market share targets.

Ideal candidates have automotive sales management experience, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective use of technology and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Automotive sales management experience is required.
• Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others.
• Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
• Ability to drive an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Experience and desire to work with technology.
• Valid driver's license.

• Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the new-vehicle sales department.
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect new-vehicle sales.
• Maintains an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership.
• Ensures proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.

Fox Motors has a Sales Manager opening in Cadillac, MI at Fox Toyota of Cadillac. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Manager is the team leader to ensure we are providing remarkable experiences to achieve increased market share. As the Sales Manager, you are responsible for hitting sales goals, increasing market share, and ensuring customer retention and profitability by hiring, training, and measuring the performance of salespeople. Fox Motors is looking for a Sales Manager that is a high-level performer that has a passion for using technology, has remarkable communication skills and a drive to be a successful leader.

Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

• Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
• Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all new-vehicle sales employees.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the new-vehicle sales department.
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect new-vehicle sales.
• Maintains an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership.
• Ensures proper follow up of all potential buyers by developing, implementing, and monitoring a prospecting and sales control system.
• Develops, implements, and monitors a follow-up system for new-vehicle purchasers.
• Conducts daily and weekly sales meetings.
• Ensures that new-vehicle salespeople understand and follow dealership policies and procedures.
• Works with salespeople on programs that will increase the new-car gross and F&I penetration.
• Completes deal settlement sheets and turns into accounting office in a prompt and timely manner.
• Establishes and maintains standards for the delivery of vehicles to customers.
• Provides dealer with accurate floor traffic control data daily.
• Processes salesperson commission sheets and monitors payroll records of salespeople.
• Reviews inventory daily to ensure the proper mix of grounded stock for maximum turnover efficiency.
• Recommends to the general sales manager the new-car inventory to be carried by color, model, and equipment, based on a variety of customer and market analyses.
• Assists the used-vehicle department with trade appraisals as needed.
• Directs merchandising efforts for the department in conjunction with the sales manager(s) and dealer.
• Assists in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
