About The Role
The Sales Manager will lead a team responsible for generating qualified pipeline for a B2B SaaS platform, guiding account development from targeted prospecting through discovery and handoff to account executives.
This role combines frontline coaching, forecast discipline, and process improvement. The manager will use CRM data, sales-engagement platforms, conversation intelligence, and performance reporting to improve conversion rates and consistently deliver pipeline against target.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of SDRs or BDRs against monthly pipeline, meeting, conversion, and activity targets
- Inspect CRM dashboards and pipeline reports in Salesforce or HubSpot to identify gaps, risks, and coaching opportunities
- Run weekly one-on-ones, call reviews, pipeline reviews, and team training sessions focused on messaging, qualification, and objection handling
- Build territory, account, and prospecting plans using sales-engagement tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar platforms
- Partner with account executives and marketing to improve lead routing, target-account strategy, campaign follow-up, and sales handoff quality
- Maintain accurate forecasts and report team performance, pipeline coverage, funnel conversion, and attainment to sales leadership
- Test and document improvements to sales processes, playbooks, sequences, and qualification standards
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of experience in B2B technology or SaaS sales, including at least 1 year managing or formally mentoring SDRs, BDRs, or account executives
- Track record of leading teams to pipeline, meeting, or revenue targets in a high-volume outbound and inbound sales environment
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or HubSpot, plus sales-engagement and conversation-intelligence tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, or equivalent
- Strong command of pipeline analytics, forecasting, funnel metrics, activity standards, and conversion-rate improvement
- Clear, direct communicator who can coach performance, manage accountability, and build trust across sales and marketing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Bonus: Experience selling technical products such as cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, developer tools, data platforms, or enterprise software; familiarity with MEDDICC, SPICED, or similar qualification frameworks
