Job summary

Enterprise Holdings is offering a paid Management Internship in Lynchburg, VA for summer 2027. The program runs 40 hours per week from May to August, with locations at 3913 Old Forest Rd. and 2100 Wards Rd.

Interns will learn to run a fleet, assist customers, and develop marketing strategies while working in a team-based environment. The internship targets current undergraduates who will be juniors in December 2027 or May 2028, with at least 6 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be currently enrolled in a college/university in a bachelor’s degree program.
• Must be a current junior graduating December 2027 or May 2028.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months of experience in one of the following areas: Sales, Customer service, Athletics, Leadership.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (total points cannot exceed 8).
• No drug or alcohol related violations on driving record in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be available to work a Full-Time 40 hour schedule during the Summer Internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop the skills to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.
• Complete intern projects and engage in some friendly competition with peers.

This is a Full-Time Summer Internship (40 hours/week) beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. The pay for this position is $18 / hour.

Responsibilities

  • Sales- Commission sales or sales with set goals and/or bonus potential
  • Customer service in a sales industry (i.e. retail restaurant, hospitality, call center)
  • Participation as an athlete on a professional, semi-professional or collegiate team
  • Leadership role in the military, clubs, organizations or community involvement
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years (Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points).
• No drug or alcohol related violations on driving record in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be available to work a Full-Time 40 hour schedule during the Summer Internship.
