Kunes Auto Group is hiring a Sales Lot Attendant to organize and present vehicle inventory, supporting the sales and service teams with daily lot operations. This role is ideal for candidates from automotive, retail, or active/manual labor backgrounds, with hands-on training provided.

Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience; the position emphasizes growth, training, and long-term career opportunities within a 40+ location Midwest group.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver\'s license.

Responsibilities

• Keep the dealership lot clean, organized, and customer-ready.
• Track, manage, and photograph vehicle inventory with attention to detail.
• Maintain accurate digital inventory records.
• Conduct regular lot patrols to verify inventory accuracy and vehicle information.
• Move and park vehicles safely around the lot and showroom.
• Wash and detail vehicles to present them well for customers.
• Assist with fueling and preparing vehicles for delivery.
• Help track and manage vehicle keys.
• Distribute materials and supplies to support smooth lot operations.
• Monitor for safety concerns and help maintain a secure lot.
• Support sales, service, and management teams with day-to-day tasks.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a Sales Lot Attendant to join our growing dealership team. In this hands-on role, you'll help keep our vehicle inventory organized, presentable, and ready for customers—supporting our sales and service teams with day-to-day lot operations. Whether you've worked in automotive, retail, warehouse, landscaping, or another active role, we provide the training and support to help you build a successful career in the automotive industry.

Compensation

• $14.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proficiency driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Basic computer skills helpful but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn—no dealership experience required
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stay active throughout the day
• Experience preferred but not required — paid training provided
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be 21+ years old
