Job summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a proactive Lot Manager to oversee vehicle inventory, keep the lot organized, and ensure customer-ready presentation. You will manage records, coordinate vehicle movement, and supervise Lot Attendants in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an automotive lot, inventory, or dealership role preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Proficient with computers; experience with dealership software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills to oversee Lot Attendants.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Track, monitor, and organize all vehicles on the lot.
• Maintain up-to-date digital records using dealership management software.
• Arrange vehicles for optimal presentation and accessibility.
• Conduct inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Move vehicles within the lot and coordinate transport to service areas.
• Distribute supplies to support operations.
• Keep the lot clean, safe, and well-maintained, including weather-related tasks.
• Oversee vehicle cleaning to showroom standards.
• Assist sales and service departments as needed.
• Oversee Lot Attendants and provide supervision.

Position Summary

Kunes Auto Group is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Lot Manager to oversee our vehicle inventory and ensure our lot is organized, safe, and customer-ready. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to grow in the automotive industry, we want to hear from you.

Compensation

• $18.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Accurately track, monitor, and organize all vehicles on the lot
• Maintain up-to-date digital records using dealership management software
• Arrange vehicles on the lot for optimal presentation and accessibility
• Conduct regular inventory audits and patrols to verify vehicle locations and resolve discrepancies
• Move vehicles in and out of service, and coordinate vehicle transport within the lot and to/from service areas
• Distribute supplies and materials to support dealership operations
• Ensure the lot is clean, safe, and well-maintained, including weather-related tasks
• Oversee vehicle cleaning and detailing to maintain showroom standards
• Assist sales and service departments as needed
• Oversee and support Lot Attendants (sales, service, or both, depending on dealership size)
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Requirements

• Proficient with computers; experience with inventory or dealership software is a plus

• Strong leadership skills to oversee Lot Attendants (sales, service, or both)
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work well as part of a team or independently
• Positive attitude and can-do mentality
