Job summary

Apollo Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning in Portland is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop our residential in-home sales organization across plumbing, HVAC and electrical services. You will coach the team, monitor KPIs like close rate and ticket size, conduct field ride-alongs, and partner with operations and leadership to drive revenue and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Experience leading residential in-home sales teams.
Strong understanding of home-service sales across plumbing, HVAC or electrical.
Demonstrated ability to coach and improve individual performance.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop sales team across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical.
Establish expectations and drive performance goals using KPIs.
Monitor KPIs including close rate, average ticket, revenue, and lead conversion.
Review sales activity using ServiceTitan and other company systems.
Conduct regular coaching, training, and one-on-one meetings.
Perform field coaching and ride-alongs with salespeople.
Improve in-home sales process, presentation, handling objections, and closing.
Collaborate with operations and installation teams to hand off sold work.
Hire, onboard, and develop sales team members; build accountability culture.
