Position Details

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $15 - 17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Senior Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, dedicated to providing an excellent experience for every patient and customer. This role requires knowledge of optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The Senior Optical Specialist guides patients/customers through their eyewear journey, ensuring their needs are met effectively. Candidates should have at least 12 months of optical experience or ABO certification.

• Achieve daily sales goals by delivering exceptional customer/patient experiences
• Engage with customers and recommend suitable products and services
• Measure and troubleshoot eyewear needs, maintaining product knowledge through ongoing training
• Support store operations, including opening and closing, especially in lead roles

Qualifications:

• At least 12 months of optical experience or ABO certification
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Maintain optician license requirements as per state guidelines, if applicable
