Job summary

Inaba Foods is seeking a Sales and Inventory Analyst to support sales operations through forecasting, customer portal setup, and analytics. The role emphasizes improving financial accuracy and operational efficiency within a CPG context.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Uniondale, NY, reporting to the sales team and collaborating with operations and finance. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in sales operations or analytics, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP/BI tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, forecasting, or analytics in a CPG or retail environment.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with a deep understanding of inventory dynamics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling); experience with ERP systems and BI tools a plus.
• Familiarity with customer portals and retail compliance systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and a focus on contributing to the bottom line.

Responsibilities

• Forecast and consolidate product forecasts with sales staff.
• Analyze sales trends and inventory for demand planning.
• Monitor chargebacks and deductions; forecast trends.
• Create sales and product performance reports using Excel and other tools.
• Set up and maintain customer portals and onboarding of new accounts.
• Coordinate with operations and finance to align forecasts with inventory and financial goals.
