Job summary

Holmes Murphy offers a Sales Internship for Summer 2027 in Omaha, NE. The program rotates through Brokerage Services teams to broaden exposure to the insurance industry and client acquisition.

You will assist in identifying opportunities, building client relationships, delivering value-driven proposals, and supporting the sales team in profitability. On-site engagement includes mentoring from industry leaders and participation in company activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or pursuing enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Majors historically pursued include Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance.
• Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Assisting in building relationships with prospective clients
• Collaborating across departments to deliver value-driven proposals
• Supporting full-time sales team members in contributing to company profitability
• Attending sales meetings
• Attending community activities & association meetings to promote Holmes Murphy
• Preparing and delivering proactive sales presentations to leaders and mentors
• Additional duties as assigned
