Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Summer Internship candidate in Concord, NC. You will participate in lead generation, qualify prospects, and assist with sales activities while gaining exposure to pre-sales processes.

This entry-level role emphasizes communication, organization, and teamwork in a manufacturing sales environment. You may support related departments such as rental, accounts receivable, and other teams as needed, while completing training activities to build foundational

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working toward a bachelor degree in business-related fields.
• Strong communication and PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and team orientation.
• Valid driver's license and safe lift truck operation for product demos.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in lead generation, making sales calls to qualify prospects, proposal and follow-up, and possibly closing sales.
• May be involved in telemarketing efforts, and/or tracking and follow-up of sales leads and inquiries.
• May assist related departments such as rental, allied, and accounts receivable as needed.
• Participate in training activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Working toward a bachelor degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or a related business program
• Strong communication, organizational, time management, and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
