Job Description

This role will enable the creation and delivery of actionable data insights that support sales execution, leadership decision‑making, and growth strategy across PMI Sales Distribution. The Sales Insights Analyst will develop analytics that help sellers identify opportunities, prioritize client engagement, and improve pipeline progression, while also producing executive‑level reporting used to evaluate business performance and shape strategic priorities. The analyst will support high‑impact data initiatives spanning call reporting, talent analytics, deposit and credit pipeline, product volume and utilisation, win/loss analysis, new logos, revenue attribution, implementation and go‑live visibility, and other emerging business needs. The role will bring together information from Salesforce, Power BI, SQL databases, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and other internal data sources to create accurate, scalable, and decision‑ready reporting. This Analyst will display exceptional inclusive partnership skills and clear‑thinking abilities to coordinate efforts across sales, sales leadership, finance, technology, product management, operations, analytics, and other partners. The individual will help translate business questions into analytical requirements, reconcile data across multiple systems, establish consistent definitions, and communicate findings in a clear and compelling manner. The need for timely, trusted sales intelligence continues to grow and requires an ambitious, forward‑thinking resource who can move from raw data to actionable insight. The Analyst will contribute to dashboards, recurring reports, executive summaries, data models, and ad‑hoc analysis that give sellers and leaders greater visibility into opportunities, activity, performance, and outcomes.

Key attributes for success
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to organize complex information and identify meaningful trends
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of internal stakeholders, including sellers, managers, and executive leaders
  • Ability to translate business questions into clear data requirements, reporting logic, and actionable insights
  • Strong attention to data quality, reconciliation, definitions, and reporting consistency
  • Continuous improvement mindset to refine dashboards, automate manual processes, and scale repeatable reporting
  • Ability to balance a bias for action with disciplined validation and practical application
  • History of fostering partnerships with business and analytics teams to gather requirements, test outputs, and improve reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple data projects and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience. Typically five to eight years of related experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience querying, joining, validating, and analysing data
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, data modelling, reporting, or data visualisation
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or related Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data validation
  • Experience working with Salesforce data, reports, dashboards, opportunity records, pipeline data, or coverage structures
  • Familiarity with Power Query, dataflows, APIs, automated refresh processes, or enterprise data gateways
  • Experience combining and reconciling data from CRM, financial, sales activity, product, and operational systems
  • Ability to develop seller‑facing insights that identify opportunities, improve prioritisation, and support client engagement
  • Ability to create executive‑level dashboards, summaries, and analyses that support business strategy and leadership decisions
  • Experience with call reporting, seller activity metrics, talent analytics, pipeline analytics, deposit reporting, product volume and utilisation, win/loss analysis, new‑logo reporting, or revenue attribution
  • Experience defining business rules, KPI definitions, reporting taxonomies, and data‑quality controls
  • Ability to analyse pipeline progression, stage ageing, conversion, closed revenue, sales activity, and performance trends
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to explain analytical findings to nontechnical audiences
  • Experience partnering with varied stakeholders to develop scalable reporting solutions and deliver actionable business insights
