Sales Executive - Urology - Chicago South

Job Description

Overview

The ideal candidate will live in or near the Chicago area and will be responsible for calling on providers in the Chicago South territory.

Myriad is seeking top sales talent and individuals passionate about improving patients’ lives. As a Sales Executive, you will actively expand the business while supporting existing accounts within our focused market of practices. This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of industry-defining products. At Myriad, we prioritize building a culture that puts patients and people first.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and other healthcare professionals.
  2. Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within a specific region, mainly in outpatient practices, as well as institutions, insurance payors, physician groups, and long-term care facilities.
  3. Manage the full sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation through various programs and initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with marketing on sales and marketing collateral development.
  5. Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  6. Stay current on industry and marketplace trends in personalized medicine.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of diagnostic or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge in personalized medicine is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM required.
  • Proven track record in developing and managing relationships with physicians, practices, and key opinion leaders.
  • Experience in building and growing sales territories through commercial programs and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of HIPAA laws, patient privacy, and ethics.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Physical Requirements

Lifting up to 20 pounds, stationary positioning, moving, operating equipment, and communicating. No exposure to blood or tissue as part of routine work.
