Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sleepwear Sales Executive to lead and grow our women's and men's sleepwear, robes, and loungewear business. This role involves managing existing retail accounts while proactively pursuing new opportunities to enhance market presence.
Responsibilities
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with large retail off-price and department store accounts, ensuring consistent performance and growth
- Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities within existing accounts and strategically prospect retailers not currently serviced
- Sales Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report weekly sales performance to inform strategic decision-making
- Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of styles, colors, and fabrics in the intimate apparel category to effectively communicate product benefits and trends to clients
- Market Preparation: Coordinate and execute market preparation and appointments, ensuring timely and effective internal and external follow-up
- Competitive Analysis: Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and inform sales strategy
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience in the apparel industry, with a preference for sleepwear expertise.
- Established relationships with buyers at major retail accounts.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals consistently.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation abilities, coupled with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated with a passion for driving business success.
Hybrid Work Schedule
3 days a week in the office, 2 days work from home
New York Pay Rate $75,000 - $300,000
