Work Location:

Pennsylvania Work From Home, New Jersey - Work From Home, Trenton

The Sales Executive will be working remotely, but this is subject to change according to our company policy. The ideal candidate will cover Central/Southern New Jersey and Northern/Eastern PA, including cities such as Allentown, Lehigh Valley, Scranton, Cherry Hill, and Trenton, as part of their territory.

Position Purpose:

Secures new business by selling Regulated Medical Waste and Compliance service solutions. Responsible for growing revenue and profitability in the assigned geographic area by selling these services, while meeting or exceeding established annual goals. The Sales Executive manages all aspects of the sales process, including pipeline building, qualifying opportunities, managing the sales cycle, closing orders, and following through to revenue. Maintains adherence to Stericycle's policies, standards, and practices within and outside their territory, aligning with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values.

Key Job Activities:
  1. Call blocks to healthcare facilities to schedule on-site appointments throughout the week to demonstrate our compliance capabilities and build a strong sales pipeline.
  2. Utilize strong prospecting and business development skills to achieve new business, selling regulated medical waste, OSHA, and HIPAA Compliance solutions by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products and the value proposition for customers. Be results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  3. Re-engage previous Stericycle customers to win back lost business by demonstrating our capabilities and tailoring solutions to meet their needs through effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  4. Build and maintain trusting relationships with new and existing customers, leveraging face-to-face interactions with local subject matter experts, and growing the business by offering additional services.
  5. Follow up on targeted marketing campaigns to grow business within the geography, leveraging our services to meet customer needs.
  6. Participate in market development activities by identifying under-developed areas within the territory and implementing initiatives to increase market penetration and sales through new initiatives.
Education:

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience (North America & LATAM):

Required Skills:

  • Ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills.
  • Experience in initiating and managing successful B2B sales and service relationships.
  • Excellent professional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and internet/social media.
  • Results-oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by success.
  • Willing to travel within the local territory daily; minimal long-distance travel required.

Preferred Experience/Education:

  • Minimum of 1 year sales experience, ideally in high-volume or high-transaction industries.
  • Experience selling in a B2B environment with varying sales cycles and decision levels.
  • Post-secondary education (College or University Degree) preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce or SAP advantageous but not required.
