Job summary

Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader seeking a Sales Executive, Secure Digital Operations. You will lead complex, multi-solution pursuits across Cybersecurity, Digital/AI, and MOM software, accelerating outcomes in the Automotive and Tire industries.

This role reports to the Director, Secure Digital Operations and is remote from Ohio or Michigan. You will build executive relationships across IT, OT, and the C-suite, collaborate with technical experts and delivery teams, and focus on

Job Description

As a Sales Executive, Secure Digital Operations you will help clients unlock value through digital transformation at scale. You'll lead complex sales pursuits that integrate Cybersecurity, Digital/AI solutions, and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software. These pursuits will accelerate customer outcomes across industrial operations, with a focus in the Automotive and Tire industries.

You will report to the Director, Secure Digital Operations and work remotely from anywhere in either Michigan or Ohio.

Your Responsibilities:

• Guide strategic, digital transformation pursuits across your assigned accounts or region.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close, across Cyber, Digital and MOM solution areas.
• Build and deepen relationships with business and technical leaders across IT, OT, and C-suite.
• Partner with technical domain experts, delivery leaders, and account teams to shape value-driven solutions.
• Identify new opportunities by understanding customer pain points, trends, and priorities.
• Focus on long-term value creation, not transactional sales — clients measure your success by their success.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
• The ability to travel 40% of the time.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise or complex B2B sales.
• 5+ years of experience in complex enterprise or consultative sales (solutions, services, or software).
• Experience selling to large companies in the automotive and tire industries.
• Experience selling digital solutions including AI/ML, cybersecurity, industrial SaaS, IIoT, or OT optimization.
• Experience with product development, manufacturing, industrial automation, or digital transformation consulting.
• Familiarity with MES, PLM, cybersecurity, industrial AI/ML, or cloud platforms.
