The Job Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities:

  • The Sales Executive is responsible for all sales activities and assigned order quota related to the sale of Respiratory Care Solutions within the defined sales territory.
  • The Sales Executive is the primary relationship owner and interface between Draeger and this designated customer.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of product functions, implications on patient care, work efficiencies, financial aspects, related systems and services, competitors' product offerings, and customer needs and product value.
  • Develop sales through activities such as account qualification, aligning products to customer workflow and technical requirements, product demonstrations, quoting, and closing.
  • Interact with clinical/technical customer service representatives during the sales process to determine needs and position Draeger solutions effectively.
  • Manage the sales cycle, drive to close, and ensure sales quota achievement, including account follow-up and support as per the strategic plan.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely follow-up on issues.
  • Implement and drive Draeger sales programs in the assigned territory under the guidance of the Area Sales Director.
  • Maintain communication with Customer Service, Service, Sales, and Marketing teams to share market and customer information and coordinate resources.
  • Work with the Area Sales Director to develop strategic and tactical plans for achieving sales targets both short and long term.
  • Maintain all customer information related to sales activities, including prospecting, qualification, funnel management, and forecasting.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
  • Experience in NICU strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.
  • Three years of sales experience in a related field; clinical sales or applications experience a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and translate into business solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, DMI quote system, DMI CRM, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within a matrix sales organization and meet targets.
