The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) within our Legal, Small Law segment is responsible for leading a team of Sales Executive Partners (SEP) focused on Westlaw, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, upselling, and customer retention. This team covers open SE Territories and provides overlay support for Regions.

The RSM is accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets monthly, quarterly, and annually, and increasing market share within the region. The RSM ensures the sales team is trained, motivated, and coached to effectively cover all assigned accounts and territories.

About The Role

As Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  1. Achieve regional sales quotas for month, quarter, and year, focusing SEP's on selling across product and service offerings.
  2. Support staff in reaching their goals through coaching, development, and leadership.
  3. Participate in recruiting high-quality sales candidates and ensure territories are fully staffed.
  4. Maintain a qualified pool of SEP candidates to facilitate hiring and minimize coverage gaps.
  5. Provide accurate sales, account management, forecast, expense, and customer evaluation reports.
  6. Partner with the Quality Assurance team to ensure excellent customer experience.
  7. Ensure compliance with reporting and internal tools usage across the region.
  8. Handle all business dealings professionally and ethically in accordance with business practices.
About You

You’re a good fit if your background includes:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA and/or JD is a plus.
  • 4+ years in successful sales or account management roles.
  • Experience leading B2B sales, preferably in the Legal market.
  • Experience with coaching sales processes, product training, and professional development.
  • Skilled in forecasting and planning.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable with a positive attitude.
  • High integrity and understanding of sales ethics.

In the US, the total compensation range is $199,500 - $370,500, including base pay and incentives, depending on experience and location.
