The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) within our Legal, Small Law segment is responsible for leading a team of Sales Executive Partners (SEP) focused on Westlaw, driving revenue growth through new customer acquisition, upselling, and customer retention. This team covers open SE Territories and provides overlay support for Regions.

The RSM is accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets and increasing market share within an assigned region. They ensure the sales team is well-trained, motivated, and coached to effectively cover all assigned accounts and territories.

About the Role

As Regional Sales Manager, you will:

  • Achieve regional sales quotas monthly, quarterly, and annually, focusing SEP's on cross-selling across the product/services portfolio.
  • Support staff in reaching their goals through coaching, development, and leadership.
  • Participate in recruiting high-quality sales candidates and ensure territories are fully staffed.
  • Maintain a qualified pipeline of SEP candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Provide accurate sales, account management, forecast, expense, and customer evaluation reports.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with reporting and internal tool usage policies.
  • Handle all business dealings professionally and ethically.
About You

You are a suitable candidate if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA and/or JD is a plus.
  • 4+ years in successful sales or account management roles.
  • Experience leading B2B sales, preferably in the Legal market.
  • Experience coaching sales teams and product training.
  • Strong forecasting, planning, and productivity skills.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable mindset.
  • High integrity and understanding of sales ethics.
