Job description

The Job Responsibilities

This is a remote position requiring residency within the covered territory of Georgia or Florida.

The Sales Executive is responsible for all sales activities and assigned order quota relating to the sale of Neonatal products and solutions within the defined sales territory. The Sales Executive is also the primary relationship owner and interface between Draeger and this designated customer.

For assigned product line, develop an in-depth understanding of:

  • All product functions and implications on patient care, work efficiencies and financial outcomes
  • All related systems and services
  • Competitors' product offerings
  • All related customer needs and product value
Sales process:

Develop sales through broad based activities including but not limited to account qualification, aligning products to customer workflow & technical requirements, product demonstration, quoting, closing. Interact with clinical/technical customer service representatives during sales process to determine customer needs and best position the Draeger solution.

  • Manage the sales cycle and drive to close, ensuring sales quota achievement in all categories.
  • Provide account follow-up and support as required per the strategic plan.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
  • Implement and drive Draeger sales programs in the territory under the guidance of the Area Sales Director.
  • Maintain communication with Customer Service, Service, Sales, and Marketing to share information and coordinate resources.
  • Work with the Area Sales Director to develop strategic and tactical plans to meet sales targets.
  • Maintain all customer information related to sales activities.
  • Perform additional duties including managing expenses, travel, and pricing within company policies.
  • Expected travel up to 80%.
Your Qualifications

Education: BS/BA in business or related field or equivalent; MBA preferred.

Related Experience: At least three years in hospital capital sales; NICU product experience is a plus. Experience in complex sales environments preferred.

Special Competencies or Certifications:

  • RN with NICU experience preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within a matrix organization and meet targets.
