Job description

As a Sales Executive for the Electronic Business, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Manage and grow sales within assigned territory by identifying and targeting potential customers.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Support market analysis to identify potential opportunities and trends in the Electronics Vertical.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA, Global Business and Technical teams to ensure that 3M products (e.g., EMC Solutions, Thermal Management, and Specialty Electronic tapes and adhesives) meet market demands and client needs.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build connections and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings and their relevance to customer needs and applications.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a technical field
  • Robust experience and a strong record of accomplishments in selling technical products to business clients
  • Energetic self-starter with an action-oriented attitude, demonstrating resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • A strong understanding and use of Sales Force.com
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and sales data
  • Fluent in German and English

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Electronics / Electrical related engineering qualification

Job specifics:

  • Based in Germany
  • Sales territory may include other DACH countries
  • Full-time
  • Travel time: up to 50% internationally
