What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and develop a mid and moderately complex group of agency assignments
- Optimize growth potential of Travelers independent agents while prospecting and appointing new agencies
- Collaborate with team members on product, pricing, and agency management decisions
- Facilitate workshops and presentations for owned agents, enhancing their understanding of Travelers products
- Develop strategic agency plans and perform ongoing follow-ups to ensure accountability and meet business objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of professional and influential work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of agency diagnostics and ability to assess agency operations
- Advanced relationship management and communication skills
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to exercise decisive judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Five years of sales or insurance industry experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Advanced ability to influence sales and convince agents to represent Travelers products
- Proven track record of delivering results and meeting set goals
