Job summary

New Millennium, a Steel Dynamics company, is seeking a Sales Engineer in Hope, Arkansas. You will partner with the sales team, translate complex steel challenges into sharp estimates and value-engineering, and serve as the technical lead on projects.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, can read contract documents and drawings, and communicates clearly. E.I.T. or P.E. are preferred, and willingness to travel to key markets is essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand contract documents and drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build accurate, competitive estimates and quotes with the sales team.
• Apply value-engineering strategies to keep projects competitive.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers and teams.
