Company Profile:

Our client is a leader in fire protection and life safety services. They are rapidly expanding, growing both organically and through acquisitions. They have laid a strong foundation and are now ready to scale and expand their team. They are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their Dayton, OH based sales team.


Job Description:
  • The Sales Engineer will establish scale and profitability by helping professionalize the company’s go-to-market strategy and close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives.
  • The Sales Engineer will conduct on-site inspections to assess current conditions, examine construction contract papers, and collaborate with the general contractor/owner to collect necessary details for creating cost estimates, proposals, and designing the fire sprinkler and/or fire alarm system for the project.
  • The Sales Engineer will develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure the company is meeting customers' expectations.

Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of technical sales experience within the fire protection and life safety services space.
  • Proven track record in technical sales, with a deep understanding of fire protection systems and related technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to assess client needs, propose solutions, and effectively close sales.

Location: This is a remote sales position where ideal candidates must be based in Dayton, OH. Travel 30-50% to conduct onsite inspections and meet potential buyers within the assigned territory.

Base Salary: $90,000 to $100,000
Total Compensation: $150,000
